Early graft failure after coronary artery bypass grafting: diagnosis and treatment
نویسنده
چکیده
Early postoperative graft failure after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is still a significant problem that results in high morbidity and mortality. Different therapeutic options are available to manage this complication which include reoperation, balloon angioplasty, angioplasty along with stenting and conservative medical management. Herein, we review the existing literature in diagnosis and treatment options for overcoming early graft failure immediately following CABG. Eur Res J 2016;2(2):85-92

Abstract Introduction: Cardiovascular illness is the common disease in developed countries. Among of these illnesses the coronary artery failure significantly counted as a high rate of heart disease in the world. The main treatment for this condition is replacing coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) heart pump under surgical crew including skilled nurses. Objective: This study aimed to det...

The success of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery mainly depends on the pa‐ tency of graft vessels. The predominant mechanism of early graft failure after coronary sur‐ gery is associated with antiplatelet treatment using drungs such as acetylsalicylic acid (ASA). Prevention using oral ASA in the early postoperative phase in patients with vascular disease is associated with a 25% to...

Introduction: During coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), the role of cardioplegic solution which results in cardiac arrest, is critical. This study was planned to evaluate the clinical impacts of N acetylcysteine (NAC) enriched cold-blood cardioplegia on early reperfusion injury in patients with ischaemic heart disease undergoing CABG Methods: In a...

Introduction: Heart failure is a major hazard for public health. Despite recent advance in medical therapy, there is not enough information on the outcome of off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) and medical therapy on the patients with severe ventricular dysfunction and triple-vessel (CAD). This study aimed to compare treatment outcomes and mortality rate in patients undergoing off-pump coro...
